Περίληψη Έργου: 

This research work constitutes a coordinated effort of the three partners to create added  value through their collaboration in actions related to the implementation of the principles of the circular economy by developing an integrated systemic approach to the management of used refractory and other building materials. The ideal outcome of the project is to develop and redesign the operations of the companies and to develop appropriate collaborations and relationships between them in order to achieve industrial symbiosis with mutually beneficial terms (win-win) for all those involved. At the same time, the specific needs of the companies in the refractory and building materials sector will be analyzed in order to design and develop innovative technological solutions that will support upcycle processes of the relevant supply chain, utilizing information technology, communications and the Internet of Things. The backbone of this research work is the design and development of an electronic platform to support the recycling supply chain of used refractory and building materials using Blockchain technologies. The platform will support the implementation of an Integrated Management Protocol for Used Refractories and Building Materials which will be developed within the framework of the project and which will concern the design of a holistic and effective management methodology that can be applied to all stages of the supply chain of the relevant materials.
