Innovative Technologies for Climate Change Mitigation in the Mediterranean Agricultural Sector

Project Overview

The ClimaMED project, co-funded by the EU’s LIFE program, focuses on developing advanced technologies for real-time monitoring of greenhouse gas emissions (CO₂, CH₄, N₂O) and soil organic carbon (SOC) changes in Mediterranean agriculture. Running from July 2018 to December 2022, it provides cost-effective and reliable solutions to support scientists and policymakers in measuring, assessing, and reporting emissions at the field level, with devices designed for continuous use in individual or grouped fields.
